Anal fissures in Infants or babies causes bloody stools. R13 dosage for children is usually half of that indicated for Adults, in such cases you should also take care to avoid Constipation by giving stool softeners and by getting more fibre in the diet. Until your child’s fissure has completely healed, apply petroleum jelly to your child’s anus to make passing stool less painful.
