What causes cracked heels?
Cracked heels are medically termed as heel fissures and appear as linear cut wounds at the surface level of the skin known as epidermis. Action of each ingredient in Baksons Baksoint 10 Cream:
• calendula officinalis : It is the homeopathic anti septic and haemostatic. It restores the vitality of the affected part, making it impregnable against the forces of putrefaction. It is suitable for all cases of dry chapped and broken skin. It helps keep cracks and fissures odorless and favors granulation in very best possible manner thus assisting in healing surface wounds.
• Zinc oxide: Due to its antiseptic and antibiotic action it has been used to treat various skin conditions. Zinc oxide is used to treat diaper rash, minor burns , several chapped skin or other minor irritations.
• Boric acid: as an anti bacterial compound, boric acid can be used in prevention of athlete’s foot. Boric acid can also be used as an antiseptic and disinfectant since it arrest fermentation and putrefaction. It also has a property of lubrication which is helpful for dry skin.

Application: Apply externally twice daily to properly cleaned and dried affected portion. Wash and clean the affected area. Smooth the cream onto the skin and massage gently until the product is absorbed. Apply daily or as required, ideally after bathing. Apply 2-3 times a day if required. Spread gently. Allow it to dry.
