Indications: Utronic is an ideal remedy for menstrual irregularities such as Amenorrhoea (delayed), Oligomenorrhoea (scanty), Dysmenorrhoea (painful), Menorrhagia (excessive), and Metrorrhagia (bleeding / spotting in between periods). It is very useful for various types of Leucorrhoea. The therapeutic efficacy of Utronic is due to the time- tested properties of its constituents, which – in combination – act in synergism to cover a wide range of uterine ailments.
Mode of action of individual ingredients in Medisynth Utronic Syrup
Aletris Farinosa: An excellent tonic for the anaemic condition of female organism. Hence, particularly suited for chlorotic girls and pregnant women. The patient is tired all the time and suffers from any of the following : prolapses, leucorrhoea, anaemia, premature and profuse menses with labour – like pains, retarded and scanty flow, uterus seems heavy, prolapse with pains in right inguinal region, leucorrhoea – due to weakness and anaemia, habitual tendency to abortion, muscular pains during pregnancy.
Janosia Ashoka: Is a time – tested Indian remedy and has an extensive sphere of action on the female reproductive organs and particularly, in case of Amenorrhoea, Metrorrhagia and leucorrhoea. Also useful for symptoms such as irregular menses, menstrual colic, pains in ovaries before flow and irritable bladder.
Helonias Dioica: Is specially indicated in ladies suffering from tiredness with a tendency to prolapse and other malpositions of the womb. Peculiar accompanying symptoms which indicate this medicine are : great weakness, languor, prostatitis and profound melancholia – brought on either by atony, indolence and luxury or being bored or by hard work. Any of the following symptoms may also be present: Dragging in secral region, with prolapse – especially after miscarriage, Pruritus vulvae, Backache after miscarriage; Weight and soreness in womb; concious of womb. Menses too frequent; too profuse; Leucorrhoea, breast swollen, nipple painful and tender. Parts hot, red, swollen, burn and itch terribly. Albuminuria during pregnancy. Debility attending the menopause.
Thlaspi Bursa Pastoris: This is an antihaemorrhagic and antiuratic-acid remedy and is useful in case of uterine haemorrhage due to benign fibroids. Other symptoms indicated in its use are Metrorrhagia; too frequent and copious menses; Haemorrhage, with violent uterine colic. Every alternate period very profuse. Leucorrhoea – before and after menses; bloody, dark, offensive; stains indelibly; sore pain in womb on rising; scarcely recovers from one period before another begins.
