Mode of action of individual ingredients in Medisynth Kofeez Cough Syrup
Blatta Orientalis is a time – tested remedy for asthma, especially when associated with bronchitis. Effective in cough with dyspnoea and phthisis with copious pus – like mucus.
Bryonia Alba acts on all serous membranes and particularly when mucous membranes are all dry. Found to be effective in soreness of larynx and trachea, giving rise to dry, hacking cough, worse at night , forcing the patient to sit up; worse after eating or drinking : tough mucus in trachea, loosened only with much hawking.
Ipecacuanha acts chiefly on the ramifications of the pneumogastric nerve when there is spasmodic irritation in the chest and stomach. Indicated in asthma of yearly occurrence, dyspnoea with constriction in the chest; continuous sneezing; coryza; incessant, violent wheezing cough with every breath. Chest seems full of phlegm but does not yield to coughing. Bubbling rales. Suffocating cough, Whooping cough, Croup, Hoarseness or complete aphonia.
Zingiber effective for hoarseness, smarting – below larynx and asthma which is worse in the morning.
Dosage: Adults: 1 – 2 Teaspoonful Upto 3 Times A Day. Children: Half The Adult Dose. (1 Teaspoonful = 5 Ml )
