What is Berberis Vulgaris

A deciduous shrub having roots of pale yellowish externally with sometimes orange shade. It is native to India, Europe and North Asia. The plant is 1-2.5m high and even higher under cultivation with thorny alternate, angular branches. Leaves in tufts, somewhat obovate, more or less pointed. Fruit a scarlet berry, oblong in loose bunches.

  6. I have 9 mm stone in left side of ureter for last 1.5 years. I have started berberis vulgaris mother tincture for last one week. Should I continue with this? Does more and less drops of medicine affect. If not then what is exactly dose of it?

    1. Kidney stones larger than 6 -7 mm about 0.23 to 0.27 in diameter or larger are considered big enough for medical interventions, they are difficult to be passed naturally and need help of medications. Very large stones need treatment to remove it another way and could include: extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) ureteroscopy etc
