Mode of action of individual ingredients in Allen Wormicid Tablets
Santoninum: It is of unquestioned value in the treatment of worms. Itching in the nose, restless sleep and twitching of muscles indicate this remedy in the treatment of thread worms and round worms.
Chenopodium anthelminticum: A remedy for expulsion of hook worms and round worms.
Filix mas: A remedy for worm symptoms especially with constipation. Expels tape worms.
Cina: It is a remedy for round, thread and tape worms. The patient usually rubs the nose and is restless. Grinding of teeth during sleep is a guiding symptom.
Teucrium marumvirum: It is specific for the treatment of ascarides, pin worms and round worms in the intestines. Tingling and tickling in the nose is an important symptom in children.
Atistaindica: Symptoms due to worms with desire for lime juice which ameliorates.
Sabadilla: Crawling, itching at anus. Alternating with tickling in nose or ears.
