LABURNUM ANAGYROIDES
BOTANICAL NAME: Laburnum anagyroides Med.
FAMILY: Leguminosae

DESCRIPTION: A large shrub or small tree, with erect or spreading branches. Branchlets appressed pubescent; leaves long-petioled. Leaflets elliptic or elliptic-ovate. Racemes silky-pubescent, pea-like yellow flowers. Fruit a pod.
DISTRIBUTION: Indigenous to Northern Mediterranean. Cultivated in United States, and Central Europe.
