Symphytum officinale (Comfrey-Knitbone) is of great use in wounds penetrating to perineum (the area between the anus and the scrotum or vulva) and bones, non-union of fractures, irritable stump after amputation, irritable bone at point of fracture, etc. Also indicated in injuries to bones, cartilage, tendons and periosteum, Also help with diseases of the bones, such as inflammation of the bones, inflammation of the inferior maxillary bone and cancer of the bones or sarcomas.
