Miscarriage, Delayed Period Homeopathy Medicine

Women experience delayed or absent menses after miscarriage and often conecerned with speculation to pregnancy. Homeopathic medicine Viburnum Opulus is suited for complaints of delayed and scanty menses and miscarriage complaints that usually do not have an underlying cause

When to expect period after miscarriage?
Miscarriage has a bearing on the menstrual cycle and may reset it. Therefore the period of onset of periods after miscarriage is directly corelated to the advancement of pregnancy period before miscarriage occured. As bleeding lessens and hormone levels return to normal, your menstrual cycle will also resume. Most women who have miscarried undergo a period four to six weeks later. The periods may either be light or delayed or in some cases thick and heavy with odour. Women in either cases have reported sick feeling with nausea.

Why is your period late and less bleeding?

Body weight, exercise, and stress apart from miscarriage as above can all cause light periods, and knowing why can be helpful. Periods that are lighter than usual are not normally a cause for concern. People often find that their menstrual flow varies from month to month, and some months are simply lighter than others.Scanty menses or periods can also occur normally at the extremes of the reproductive life that is, just after puberty and just before menopause

Viburnum Opulus is prominently indicated medicine for cases of short periods where flow last only for a few hours. Menstrual flow is also scanty, thin and light-colored where Viburnum is required. Blood is thin, light-colored and may have an offensive odor. During periods, nausea, cramping pain and great nervous restlessness is felt. Before periods severe bearing down pains in uterus and drawing in anterior muscles of thighs are present

Viburnum Opulus is one of the very significant Homeopathic medicines for tendency towards recurrent/habitual abortion in the early months, i.e. between the first three months. Cramping pain in the uterus, which extends down the thighs, is observed
